His extensive background gives him a practical and well-rounded approach to Jiu-Jitsu, personal safety, and real-world self-defense.

At Rodjitsu, Coach Marcus teaches adult classes and Wednesday Combatives, while also serving as an assistant coach in the Fearless Women’s program. He combines disciplined, motivating instruction with the patience and encouragement students need to learn confidently and push beyond their perceived limits.

Driven by a commitment to serving others, Coach Marcus helps students develop practical skills, mental resilience, and the confidence to remain calm under pressure—on the mats and in everyday life.

How do you accommodate children with special needs?

We’re proud to offer an inclusive environment and are happy to accommodate a wide range of student needs. Feel free to contact us so we can find the best way to support your child.

What’s the recommended attire for my child during class?

We suggest wearing comfortable athletic clothing. For martial arts, a uniform is required and can be purchased directly from us.

Am I allowed to observe my child’s classes?

Absolutely! Parents are welcome to watch classes from our designated viewing area—we want you to stay connected to your child’s martial arts progress.

What age groups do you accept for your programs?

We offer classes for children, teens, and adults, starting as young as 4 years old.

How do you ensure the safety of the students?

Safety is our top priority. Our facilities are cleaned daily by a professional cleaning company. Our lead instructors are certified in CPR and first aid yearly and our facilities are equipped with first aid kits as well as AEDs.
